The Opportunity
An entertainment and cultural heritage venture had a clear multi-platform production strategy and a growing audience — but turning that strategy into executed productions required hands-on oversight across multiple workstreams simultaneously. A documentary-style podcast needed to move from concept to launch. A live event concept needed to be developed, agency partners evaluated, and a revenue model built. And a prestige miniseries needed a pilot script commissioned, reviewed, and packaged for industry meetings.
Each production operated on a different timeline, involved different creative partners, and carried different commercial considerations — but all needed to reinforce one another and serve the venture’s long-term IP strategy.

The Solution
Approach:
We operated as an extension of the venture’s leadership team, providing strategic oversight and hands-on management across three concurrent productions — each at a different stage of development and each requiring a different set of capabilities.
Podcast Production
We managed the full production lifecycle for a documentary-style podcast exploring the venue’s impact on 1970s New York music culture. This included overseeing the production team, coordinating guest interviews with original-era musicians and insiders, managing recording logistics, developing the launch plan, and building a monetization strategy that included sponsorship pricing, advertising opportunities, and distribution partnerships. Season 1 is now live, with Season 2 in active development.
Live Event Development
We led the development of an immersive live event concept designed to bring the venue’s story to life through a blend of concert performance, archival multimedia, and storytelling. This included evaluating three specialist event agencies across immersive design, touring logistics, and audiovisual production — assessing each against creative capability, scalability, and budget. We recommended the agency that offered the strongest combination of touring expertise, build-out capability, and digital content production, and developed conservative revenue models covering ticketing, sponsorship, merchandise, and activation across a multi-city tour format.
We also led the strategic repositioning of the venture’s original Off-Broadway production into a new live showcase format designed for industry and media audiences. The showcase pilot was presented to stakeholders and media and received a five-star review, validating the concept and the narrative reframing that underpinned it.
Miniseries Development
We led the commissioning of a prestige miniseries pilot script from an award-winning screenwriter at a leading film school, overseeing the creative development process, coordinating the review, and managing feedback from industry experts. We then developed the full pitch narrative and strategy deck — including logline, season arcs, character development, market positioning, and comparable property analysis — for meetings with major studios and streaming platforms. Our team has led direct outreach to production houses, studios, and streamers, generating active interest and ongoing discussions with multiple parties.
Impact:
Across three concurrent productions, we moved the venture from strategy to execution — delivering a live podcast, a validated live event concept with a five-star industry review, and a miniseries pitch that is generating active interest from major studios and streamers.
Our production oversight enabled the principals to maintain creative focus while we managed the logistics, partner relationships, commercial planning, and industry engagement required to bring each production to life. The result is a venture with real momentum across multiple platforms — each production reinforcing the others and building toward long-term commercial value.
