The Opportunity
A growth company needed to revise its market access strategy based on feedback from local stakeholders. Due to the priorities of local government and regulators, the company’s launch timeline was extended indefinitely. The company needed to reduce the time to market for its regulated, innovative nutrition product. Given Confident Strategy Group’s extensive expertise in global markets and government and industry relations, we were asked to assist in developing a new plan.

The Solution
We initially sought to understand the company’s food technology, which is relatively new in this regulated space, and the ingredients are innovative. We then identified the tier-one markets that should be prioritized for regulatory approvals and organized meetings with relevant government officials and regulators and the company, during which our tier-one strategy was confirmed. We developed the market access plan for the board where the plan was approved. The company then extended the project and asked us to recommend manufacturers that could facilitate the project locally. We assessed over ten manufacturers and ranked them based on their capabilities, quality and safety records, and production capacity. We then facilitated discussions with the manufacturer until the company ordered manufacturing. This project showcased our expertise in the food and nutrition industry as we managed this initiative efficiently for the growing company, enabling them to meet investor and other stakeholder timelines.
